[ PRIVACY NOTICE ]
WHAT THIS SITE
COLLECTS
Almost nothing
This site sets no cookies, has no forms, and runs no analytics. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Reading these pages does not create an account, a profile, or any record tied to you.
One thing is unavoidable: our host records ordinary request metadata — including your IP address — in its server logs, as every web server does. Those logs exist so the site can be served and kept secure, they are retained only for the short period our host keeps them by default, and we do not use them to identify anyone. If they are stored outside the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, that transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses in our host's data processing agreement.
If you email us
We hold whatever you put in your message, along with your email address, so we can reply and — if it goes further — scope the work. We do not use it for marketing and we do not pass it to anyone beyond our email provider, which carries and stores the mailbox. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are clearly not going anywhere; where an enquiry becomes a project, correspondence is kept for the life of the engagement and for as long afterwards as our professional and tax obligations require.
The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) UK/EU GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering a contract — and, where an enquiry does not lead to one, our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in replying to people who contact us.
Please do not put confidential operational detail, credentials, or personal data about other people in a first email. If an enquiry needs that level of detail, say so and we will arrange a secure channel first.
Who is responsible, and your rights
Arqen Labs, of Zurich and Warsaw, decides how the information described here is used. Under GDPR and the Swiss nFADP you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to and we will reply within one month.
If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or to the supervisory authority where you live — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date here. Last updated 30 August 2026.
